The 54th Deadline: Regardless of failure or success, you learn. Life grants people so many chances to get it right.
“The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.” – Vince Lombardi
I approach each day now as a means of trying to get more “checkmarks” off that mental checklist. More checks for every random task or victory – that’s the idea, anyway. I believe in the notion that everyone can only do so much in a given day’s worth of time, but limits are all on you.
It is truly inspiring to see some amazing people out there knock one task out of the park, left and right like they are nothing. Optimally, this is the ideal state I want at some point. Someday.
I hate feeling lazy. I hate feeling unproductive. But sometimes, I use up all of my resources for a day and have to recover. Willpower is finite, but my ambition is endless. This is the neverending conflict that hinders me, but I still must power on if I ever want to advance.
Every step counts. Every proverbial mile I run requires a lot of steps forward.
Progress, progress and more progress! My hopes and dreams are past that finish line, that arbitrary threshold I have not decided on just yet.
The only one who can truly stop me is myself.
The moment I quit, it’s game over. I don’t want this to end. Not like this. Not when I have so much I want to do with my life.
Just a bit further… Come on! A breakthrough is inevitable if I just focus! Checkmarks and more checkmarks until I achieve it all! Win big!
“Hope is my catalyst.” – Nhan Pham
