The 54th Deadline: Brand

The 54th Deadline: Regardless of failure or success, you learn. Life grants people so many chances to get it right.

There are times when you need to see the world in a different light, so I assume some of the best brands out there evolved from thinking outside of the box. When you pause and just take a moment to examine your surroundings, you may find something new you did not realize before.

For me, it took arranging some sticky notes around on the wall for something to click. For a total of 54 days, 54 being my favorite number in the world, I wrote a quote onto a sticky note each day. I clumped the notes together on the wall. But out of the blue, I noticed I could make a pattern out of them.

And with some imagination, I saw a unique design within the cluster of notes. Thanks to my friend Tyler, the image below came into existence. Green is my favorite color, so I had to make that a focal point in the color scheme.

What is neat about this design is how 54 boxes also form the 54 number in the center. Hey now, that is pretty rad to me. I am a sucker for such designs.

Putting It All Together

I am one step closer toward something substantial.

I want to use this symbol as a stepping stone. Ultimately, I want to create some “brand” that I can call my own. My hopes and dreams embody the symbol.

Every time I look at this logo, it will remind me about motivation. I have been trying to motivate myself to get good and be better in life.

This personal journey has been a challenging and often repetitive process, but I know I can make something magical happen as long as I do not give up.

Down the road, I hope this symbol means more than just something quirky I came across staring at my wall one day.

My brand.
