The 54th Deadline: Regardless of failure or success, you learn. Life grants people so many chances to get it right.
“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” – Thomas A. Edison
Keep trying. Keep trying.
What must you tell the person who finds success elusive? Keep trying. Yeah, it is that simple. It is a platitude. But a good one. Just try it again. Keep persevering. Just don’t stop. Strive for what you want until you have it.
If there is one thing life lets you do, it’s granting you so many chances to try and try again. The actual number of times allowed in all honesty is quite generous. The real issue is, a lot of people don’t realize it until it is too late.
At my worst moments in these past few years, I felt on the verge of running out of mulligans. I thought my luck had depleted. I thought the game was over. I figured I ran out of shots to take.
In reality, it was just only the beginning.
Lightbulb Going Off
I long for that “aha” moment. I long for the day I can shout out and raise my arms in the air and brim with excitement and sheer triumph. However, that day may sooner than I think. I have had a lot of rough days. I have had a lot of awful moments where I think the worst about myself.
And yet, something always resets my ambitions.
Something always reminds me that I do not want to settle for less than my best in the grand scheme, which stems from me desiring more than just survival.
Thrive. Succeed. Excel in life.
This is what we all must become at some point.
Giving up makes this notion impossible.
“Hope is my catalyst.” – Nhan Pham
